PLYMOUTH 4, FRANKLIN 0: On Thursday, a lead-off homer by Erin Rodes and a two-run shot in the first by Amanda Burnard carried the host Wildcats (12-7, 4-3) to the WLAA-Western Division triumph over Livonia Franklin (14-6, 3-4).

Winning pitcher Lauren Smith allowed nine hits over seven innings. She struck out three and did not allow a walk as Plymouth played errorless ball.

Losing pitcher Natalie Sanborn (10-2) gave up five hits, walked two and struck out three. One run was unearned. Brittany Taylor went 2-for-4 for the Patriots.
