Kroger Gift Card Program
How the Program works:
- Gift Cards are purchased through the Plymouth Wildcats Softball Club (contact Larry Klonowski)
- The Gift Cards come pre-loaded with $5.00
- These Gift Cards can be used when making purchases at any Kroger Store
- You can add more money to the gift card at the Kroger Customer Service counter, or at the checkout counter prior to your first item being scanned
- You can buy multiple gift cards and pass them out to neighbors, grandparents, friends...
- 5% of the value of the purchases made with the Gift Cards stay with the Plymouth Wildcats Softball Club
- Half of the fundraising dollars go to the Plymouth Wildcats Softball Club general fund, the other half goes into an account for the individual player that can be used toward spring trip expenses
THIS IS A VERY EFFECTIVE METHOD OF FUND RAISING BECAUSE IT DOESN’T COST ANYTHING!!!
Let me give an example; If we have 30 athletes on the teams and the average grocery purchases per week is $100, that is $3000 of Kroger Gift Card purchases per week. This means that the Plymouth Wildcats Softball Club would be raising $150/wk, or roughly $7500/yr. This is a large amount of fundraising dollars, at NO COST!!!, and no pestering friends and neighbors for purchasing something, or picking up messy bottles/cans, car washes, …. (These are fine as well, but it requires much more effort).
